God, Who Gave Himself For Me

galatians-220Day 9 – God, Who Gave Himself For Me

“Surely as we meditate on the love of the Lord, our hearts burn within us, and we long to love Him more.” -C. H. Spurgeon

Paul said in Galatians 2:20:

I was put to death on the cross with Christ, and I do not live anymore — it is Christ who lives in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself to save me.

When we accept Jesus as our Savior and we’re born again we aren’t who we used to be. Christ living in me causes me to desire to live by faith. There’s nothing I could ever do to repay Him.

However, we’re called to praise, worship and glorify Him, as well as, share The Good News of Salvation.

I don’t know about you, but, when something that grand and awesome happens I want to shout it from the mountaintops and rooftops to let everyone know of this great and awesome gift.

Meditate on Him. Pray and speak to God in love. Long for Him! Show Him you love Him.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Yahweh, I pray for the fire in my belly to grip me in such a way that I want to share Your great gift with everyone. I want everyone to experience Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
