View this post on Instagram Two by two. I seem to recall that God did this with the animals that Noah was to tl bring on the ark. The difference, though, is that this is the disciples and they were being sent out. Jesus gave them their marching orders. Jesus also gave them authority to do miraculous things in His name. The one thing, shaking the dust off their feet. Why do you suppose this is important? What happens if they don’t shake the dust off from the place they’re unwelcomed? Here’s my take: If you don’t shake the dust off your feet when you leave a place you’re unwelcomed then, you carry that with you once you leave. When you do shake the dust off, it tells them that you’re washing your hands clean of them and you’re done there. As it says in the word, “you have abandoned those people to their fate.” God also did this idea in other parts of scripture. Go, read His word. I challenge you too. Happy Tuesday blessings, all.
