Worship To Defeat

In 2 Chronicles Yahweh sent out the praise team in battle instead of an army because He knew it would be certain defeat if He sent out the army regimen! They were outnumbered by a massive amount. So, He sent the praise team instead!

Spiritual power is released in praise and worship to Yahweh.

In the scripture of chapter 2 of 2 Chronicles we read that the army turned on itself and killed each other destroying themselves when the people praised and worshipped Yahweh.

I myself can attest to this to a small degree.

Between 2009 & 2012 & then again between 2013 & 2017 (a few months ago) there was a certain transformation going on with me.

Instead of battling against the evil forces against me (alone) I turned on praise music. I sang along. I read scriptures and prayed.

I could see small battles being defeated. I left it with Yahweh.

When you’re facing a massively intimidating battle and you’re outnumbered, release the Spiritual power of Yahweh with praise and worship of Him.

Here’s one of my go to praise and worship battle songs:

Where do you find yourself when overwhelmed with defeat looming in the wings? What’s your response to a battle you’re facing?

Comment your response. Let’s chat. Let’s pray, praise and worship in the battle and let Yahweh defeat the enemy! After all He already has! Praise You Jesus for the gift of Salvation!

Unlikely Mix

Moving across the country to another land was devastating and a massive culture shock. Everything was different from the food to the people as well as the land.

When I was 12 yrs old my parents decided to move back home. The military had taken them away for decades.

You’ve seen movies and read stories of these types of scenarios.

We all try to fit in.

However, as people of the Kingdom of our most high God, Yahweh, we’re not of this world.

The word even tells us not to be of it.

But, yet, we feel the need to belong and fit in. Yes, even me.

So, as that tween, I desperately wanted to be a part of those around me. I got stuck into sports, etc. For what seemed like an Eternity, I tried. I continually got a swift kick up the backside from Yahweh, and ignoring it. You know, like a rebellious kid. I found out, eventually, I would never be a part and would never mix with them.

This truth is graphically made clear in the Bible, the holy book. Paul says: Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come (1 Corinthians10:11).

Our peers try to pressure us into being like them. When we surrender to that influence, we become bound with habits, are haunted with a guilty conscience, and are haunted by the demons of our actions. Paul calls us to avoid taking part in the world and adds that if we do avoid it, Yahweh will receive us and will be a Father to us, and we will be His sons and daughters (2 Corinthians 6:17-18).

The gift of salvation is our adoption into His family making us a part of Himself.

What’s your fitting in experience? Comment and let’s chat.

Yahweh Is Governor

Man has always attempted to govern himself but has never succeeded.

Even I have felt that I could be my own boss/ruler. When I was younger I hated being told what to do. There were times as a teen I rebelled against it. I paid the price dearly for it, however.

Unmistakenly, man must accept supernatural control if he is going to survive. Only one nation in history has ever endeavored to function with such a system. Israel started as a theocracy with Yahweh as governor.

Joshua, Judges, and Ruth tell of the time of theocracy. In them, we see that when men chose to let Yahweh rule, they knew peace and joy. However, when they began to highjack His throne, they became hostages of a foreign power.

Yahweh communicated His rules for government through priests, prophets, and judges. Obedience to these commands manifested in prosperity, while disobedience led to ruin and violence. Eventually, this theocracy yielded to a monarchy because the people demanded a king like other nations.

But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. 1 John 2:5‭-‬6

One day, we will again have a theocracy. Christ will return to rule as Lord of all creation. In the meantime, we must remember Yahweh’s words to Joshua. If we follow His Word and do His Will, then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success (Joshua 1:8).

May Yahweh be the ultimate ruler of our lives.

Who rules your life, and why. Who’s your master, and why?

Me: I finally realized my Master isn’t me. It’s Yahweh. There were hard lessons learned from the experiences. Occasionally, I get a swift kick to my backside as a reminder. “Oh, right, Yahweh, You’re my Master! Thanks for the reminder!”

Your turn. Go!

Sin Destroyed

He looked at me and said,”Let’s have some fun.” I was a little skeptical and reluctant knowing his idea of fun. But, I said, “OK!” We hopped into his very fast car. He mapped out where we were going. We jumped on the freeway and headed northeast. He punched it! My head banged against the seat headrest and I felt glued there for what seemed like an Eternity. He slowed to take the exit to the curvy, twisting, and winding road.

At some point, I stated that he was breaking the law. He said, “So!” And went a little faster.

The only way I could get him to slow down was to let him know it was making me car sick. It was! My head was spinning and my stomach felt like it was in my throat.

The first five books of the Bible form the foundation of our faith. They show how Yahweh first began dealing with fallen man, and they trace right to Calvary.

Paul purposely points out that the old Law was a failure. This wasn’t because of any fault on Yahweh’s part, but because man is determined on breaking it.

Our only hope to be reconciled with Yahweh is through the supreme sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.

By reading these books of the Law, we obviously see how impossible it is for man to live righteously.

We can take delight because what was once a fleeting dream is now a living reality through Christ, our Lord.

What is your situation with regard to the bents in your life? We all have them. Even me. My bent is that I talk too much, so I’ve been told! In talking I have an attitude. Thank Jesus for His gift of Salvation to us!

The Word – The Bible

Psalm 119_10-11 image

The complete Bible was first published in 1557. What a blessing this arduous work has been for all who love to read and memorize the scriptures of the Bible.

The psalmist records a privilege of the Bible we often dismiss. A great number of us think only in terms of immediate value when reading Yahweh’s Word. Yet, the psalmist says His Word can be hidden in our hearts to help us through times of incitement and suffering. During these times, Yahweh’s Holy Spirit produces Scripture verses in our memory just as He did for Jesus in His hour of enormous incitement. And in the modern day, it is simpler for us to find and remember the references because faithful men who loved Yahweh and His Word took the time to divide it into chapters and verses, as well as the technology available to us along with a concordance.

What an awesomely wonderful thing for us, today.

List here, some of your favorite memorized scripture verses.

Me: I have some also.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd;
    I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
   He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
   He leads me in the paths of righteousness
   For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death,
I will fear no evil;
   For You are with me;
   Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of
my enemies;

   You anoint my head with oil;
   My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
   All the days of my life;
   And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
   Forever.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Just to list a few. There’s the entire Bible, after all! Haha!

Boom! Your turn! Go!

Prayer Partners

James 5_16 image

We like it when great things happen! So then, we partner with Yahweh and pray for each other.

ABBA Yahweh enjoys partnering with us in observing His will in place here on earth. But we repeatedly feel a failure in knowing how to be His partner in the job. This scripture not only supplies us with a solution to witnessing that partnership proved but also with a real model of how it can be realistically lived out.

The scripture states that “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours” (James 5:17). He wasn’t any different from you or me. He just moved into position with Yahweh’s plan and sincerely prayed that His will would be fulfilled. Elijah’s passionate prayer broke the chains of drought. Jesus further details, “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matt. 16:19). Our responsibility is clear: we pray; He frees.

What needs to be converted in your world today? Bring it to Yahweh in prayer and then see Him release the solution in all of His promises and blessings.

Share how Yahweh has given you an answer to prayer because you moved into position (vertical alignment) with Yahweh’s plan and partnered with Him in prayer.

Me: In 2009, my marriage was on the brink of disaster. I prayed from January to August about it. Never once in my prayers did I impose my human nature wants onto Yahweh. I always prayed to be used by Him and that His will was fulfilled in it and that He was honored and glorified in it all. In August 2009, my prayers were answered, plus some. It was an amazing miracle. It’s important to partner with Yahweh. Without Him, we’re lost and living in chaos. Praise HIS Holy Name!

Your turn!

He Chose Each Of Us!

John 15_14-16 image

Yahweh’s system of things, nothing is exceeding His gracious plan of redemption!

He loves us with an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3 And from far away the Lord appeared to his people and said, “I love you people with a love that will last forever. That is why I have continued showing you kindness.) and He drew us to Himself with cords kindness and ropes of love (Hos. 11:4 I led them with cords of human kindness, with ropes of love. I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down and fed them.) He chose us.

And He chose each us for a purpose. Today’s scripture image shows that He has appointed each us to produce fruit and that our fruit will last. When we are obedient and aligned with Him, He will give us what we ask for. Nothing less will do.

Let’s live in the faith that Yahweh knew what He was doing when He chose us.

What’s your experience living in the faith that Yahweh chose you? Share, let’s chat!

Enduring Faith

Revelation 13_9-10 image

We’re Christians! What does that mean?

To start with, it means that we’re followers of Christ.

A Christian is someone who has been born again by God and has put faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

A true Christian is a person who has put faith and trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ, including His death on the cross as payment for sins and His resurrection on the third day. John 1:12-3 tells us, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” The mark of a true Christian is love for others and obedience to God’s Word (1 John 2). A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Jesus Christ.

As part of that, we must endure faithfully. All circumstances.

That brings to mind Jesus’ journey to Calvary. During the entire stretch of his journey, He knew what he would go through. The only time He said anything was when He was in the garden praying and sweating drops of blood through intense agony knowing what He would go through when He prayed these words:

Matthew 26:39 After walking a little farther away from them, Jesus fell to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, do not give me this cup of suffering. But do what you want, not what I want.

He endured the most intense time of his ministry when He was scourged and hung on the cross to endure more persecution. It was while he was on the cross He forgave a thief and told him that he’d meet him in paradise.

Luke 23:46 Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Father! In your hands, I place my spirit!” He said this and died.

Jesus never once complained nor fought about what he was doing. He didn’t want to do it, but, He knew it would save all mankind. It was the ultimate price for the forgiveness of sin. It’s a gift. No repayment necessary.

Only one thing is required. As Christians, be HIS example. Live a life that shows people your loyalties are with Yahweh.

Will you join me in this journey? Share your experience on your journey with Jesus. Bless others and be blessed at the same time.

Me: Yes, I struggle with this. It’s hard to take it and be a good example. Nobody likes to live in pain and suffering. However, I try my best. How are you doing? Come with me on this journey, won’t you? Let me know.

Happy Home-Happy Life

There’s no really deep secret to having a happy home-happy life. It’s simply letting Jesus have first place in our hearts. Each day is a growing experience as we pull in closer to Him and to none other.

As Hosea so wisely recognized:

In two days He will put new life in us; on the third day He will raise us up so that we may live in His presence and know Him. Let’s try to learn about the Lord; He will come to us as surely as the dawn comes. He will come to us like rain, like the spring rain that waters the ground.” (Hosea 6:2-3).

How do we learn to love? We begin at the center of all love: Calvary. We need to know Yahweh because Yahweh “is” love. Agape Love.

What’s your experience with Agape Love? Comment, let’s chat.

Me: My experience with Agape Love; when I was at my lowest, Yahweh carried me and brought me out of the fire. He is the Victory!

Love, Do Good, Bless Everyone, and Pray For All; Good And Bad!

Luke 6_27-28 image
That’s a tall order, is it not, to love, do good, bless everyone, and pray for all; good or bad?

We, as a human race, take offense very easily and then want revenge.

Why is that? Because of the fall of man in The Garden and the curse put upon the Earth as a result.

We don’t like it when people say or do things against us or to us.

Satan is pretty slick in convincing us that we need to take revenge against our enemy.

Yahweh is not a God of chaos and disorder. He is not a God of hate.

Satan has us believing lies to keep us as mental prisoners.

I’m here to tell you, we are victors through Jesus’ death and Resurrection. Satan has been defeated. Accept it. Receive it! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

With the Holy Spirit living in us, we can love, do good, and bless everyone. When we do, we will be rewarded in Heaven.

Don’t take my word for it. Search and study His Word and see for yourselves.

Are you a Victor? If so, comment your experience. If not, why? What’s holding you back? Comment, and let’s interact.
